Walk in support of Sallarulo’s Race for champions

The 17th annual Sallarulo’s race for champions will be held on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale campus Nov. 5 at 8 a.m. This event is a 5K walk and run that is in support of Special Olympics Florida. Walkers, runners, NSU alumni, faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend the event. Registration for this event starts at 6:30 a.m., and the run starts at 8 a.m. on Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd.

Participants who register under the NSU team will have the $39 per person fee waived. Registered participants will also receive race shirts, gift bags and a medal. Those interested can also start their own fund-raising page to support the Special Olympics.

An announcement of the overall times for male and female runners will be given at 9 a.m. after the race, and participants can stay to hear their results. The ceremony will include breakfast, lunch, celebrity guests and other entertainment.
The code to waive the registration fee is code NSU2022 and participants can register at Champions5k.org.
